FCDKIvan Puljuj was born in 1845 in deeply religious greco-catholic family. In 1865 it(he) has finished the Ternopol grammar school and has acted(arrived) on theological faculty of the Viennese university which has stopped with distinction. Later it(he) has acted(arrived) on physical and mathematical branch of philosophical faculty of the same university where studied till 1872. Was the senior lecturer of the Viennese university. In 1874 - 1875 Ivan Pavlovich taught physics in the Naval academy in Фиуме (nowadays Rijeka, Croatia). In 1875 Ivan Puljuj as the grant-aided student of the Austrian Ministry of Public Education, raised the professional knowledge under the direction of the professor of August Кундта at the Strasbourg university. In 1876 I.P.Puljuj has received a scientific degree of the candidate of sciences. In 1884 the Ministry of Public Education of Austro-hungarian empire has suggested Ivan Pavlovichu as the professor of experimental and technical physics, to head faculty of physics of German maximum(supreme) technical school (nowadays the Czech maximum(supreme) technical school) in Prague which it(he) in 1903 has transformed to the faculty of physics first in Europe and electrical engineers. With 1888 for 1889 Ivan Pavlovich was the rector of this school, and the faculty created by him(it) headed during 32 years. Except for that I.P.Puljuj was the state adviser after the electrical engineer of Czechia and Moravia. In 1916 to it(him) have offered a post of minister of education of Austria which it(he) has refused on a state of health. Has died in 1918 in Prague where it is buried.
